Shepherds' Field Chapel (Beit Sahour)

The iconic Catholic chapel was completed in 1954 and designed by renowned Italian architect Antonio Barluzzi. It is shaped like a nomad’s tent with five sloping sides and apses to mirror the simple dwellings of the shepherds on the night of the Nativity.
