Hórreo (Combarro)

Hórreos in Galicia are traditional, elevated stone or wooden granaries designed to keep crops dry and safe from pests and tides. Many feature flat, projecting stone mushroom-like caps to trick mice and rats so they cannot climb up into the grain.
